One of, if not the most important aspect of meditation is teaching your Ego, the lower mind to acquiesce, in the process your higher mind/Christ mind fully takes over and becomes your dominant thinking force. This is no easy feat, for we've become complacent with the lower mind, inspite of the fact that it is self destructive, some of us revel in the thought of being in a state of opposition. Truth students it's imperative that you strive to maintain your Christ mind every moment of the day. The Christ mind thinks, sees, and hears differently, and your Spiritual growth needs a constant Spiritual perception of everything that transpires in and around your life.
