The Golden Rule after the comma!

Writer's picture: Satori KenshoSatori Kensho

One common knowledge that most people know (but often ignored) is The Golden Rule, which reads "In everything do to others as you would have them do to you, for this is the Law and the prophets." Matthew 7:12 Yet, when most people speak this rule they leave off the second part "for this is the Law and the prophets" and this is the most important part of the Golden Rule.

Lets go back to the first part "In everything [this part is usually left out because how difficult it must be to always be kind? Go figure] do to others [all people you encounter, whether at home, work, or walking down the street] as you would have them do to you [how you want to be treated]. The second part after the comma reads "for this is the law [a Spiritual law that governs all things] and the prophets [this law works through prophets too]."

Synopsis: Always think, say and do to others what you want to experience in your own life because what you are thinking, saying and doing is creating your own experience (law), no one is exempt from this law, not even people (such as myself, teachers, ministers, and pastors) who are regarded as an inspired teacher of the will of God.

This simple Rule, called a "rule " because it is principle, and a "principle " because it is a fundamental truth and everything that exists is Truth; it is a Law and there are many Laws that Truth students (and all people) must learn to coexist in a mental world that we are not Spiritually apart of. What's after the comma needs to be taught and emphasized as much as the first part, because that's where the full understanding is. If every person understood that how they treat people would eventually become their own experience, and not just some kind polite thing to do, there would be a dramatic decrease in every type of crime imaginable. And if they understood that simply because you exist, you are susceptible to this Law and laws are no respecter of persons; so it doesn't matter how much money you have or don't have, how many degrees you have or don't have, your religion, your gender, your ethnicity, your awareness of this Law or no awareness whatsoever, this law governs your life!

"He is not the God of the dead, but of the living; you are greatly mistaken!" Mark 12:27

Prayer and Meditation keeps your thinking, saying and doing in alignment with the Divine, it's never too late to start. Be great today!

ABOUT ME>

Ms. Deborah Francis, aka Satori Kensho, Mystic and Founder.

I was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa., and my Spiritual Journey began with my first encounter with the Holy Spirit at the age of 2, baptized and received Christ at the age of 8, and then again at the age of 42. I was raised a Christian, but I was a student of many religious beliefs. Curious to know how God was working through other religions, I've studied the Koran, Judaism, Buddhism, Kabbalah, Christian Science, and New Thought. I've also studied ancient texts such as the Kybalion, The Emerald Tablets of Hermes, and the Egyptian Book of the Dead. As a result of my studies, I rest in the teachings of Jesus Christ and acknowledge the Holy Trinity as governor of my life.

I've practiced many forms of Meditation for over 25 years, and I've learned that we are Spirits having a human experience, and each Spirit is in a different phase or stage of its evolution. Sow Good Seed is here to assist you on your Spiritual journey!

Thank you for visiting my website, and Be great today!
