It's okay to imitate!

1 Corinthians 11:1 (esv) "Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ." Truth students, it's okay to imitate (and be imitated) those that you unequivocally know are of Christ, for Jesus was the example of how to live a God filled life and his Spirit shines through those he chooses. "For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in his steps." 1 Peter 2:2
Be cautious and use your gift of discernment so that you're not fooled to imitate the wrong spirit. 3 John 1:11 "Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good the one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God. "
