Backsliding!

A few days ago I was talking about a time in my life when I was mentally and spiritually moving away from God and his purpose for my life. When you are raised in a particular belief system and your actions divvy away from that belief system it's called "Backsliding" figuratively speaking of course. I also mentioned that I eventually hit the bottom and fell on my back, and how fortunate for me I did - because I wouldn't have this ministry without that event. I also mentioned that some people fall on their face, which is still a metaphor for finally being in position to hear a word from God. If you figuratively fall on your face or back it really doesn't matter, either way you are ripe for hearing and understanding what's your purpose for existing - what God has for you to do with your life.
